Koh Kood's Weather in February
February on Koh Kood marks the end of the Dry or Cold Season. It’s already a bit warmer than January, but still a great time on the island—not too hot, not too humid, not too sticky.
Mornings often start cloudy, but around midday, the sky usually clears up and brings bright sunshine and blue skies.
Temperatures and humidity during the day are comfortable. However, temperatures in the evening and early morning may drop below comfortable levels, so you might want to bring a light jacket, especially for motorbike rides.
Wind usually comes from northeast as a mild breeze.
As it's still Dry Season, rain is unlikely in February and waterfalls are dripping in the best case.
If it rains however, it's usually a light shower and a welcome relief for the island - after all you want to have some water for your shower.
High tide in the morning and low tide during the evening makes for spacious beaches in the afternoon and for sunset.
The sea is great for diving, snorkeling, kayaking and all sorts of beach activities with good visibility and mostly calm conditions — though some days can be a bit choppy
Island Wisdom
February is not a month for chasing waterfalls, but for all sorts of beach and ocean activities.
